This policy explains what information melyn (“we”) collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
When you use a contact or “Book a conversation” form, we collect what you enter: your name, email, organization or community, province or territory, type of organization, community size, and your message. We use it only to respond to you about a demo or your inquiry.
When you visit, we log basic analytics to understand and improve the site: your approximate location (derived from your IP address: city, region and country), the pages you view, the site that referred you, the date and time, and your device and browser type.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Form submissions go to the melyn team and to the email and form service we use to deliver them. Analytics may be processed by a third-party analytics provider. These providers handle the data only to provide their service to us.
We keep contact submissions only as long as needed to follow up and maintain our records, and analytics for as long as it is useful to understand site traffic.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@melyn.ca and we will take care of it. In Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you these rights.
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
